It’s no surprise that a piece of malware is now spreading through Facebook, but the MacDefender is using a fake video link through Facebook to spread itself. According to Sophos, a post will appear on a Facebook wall purporting to be a video about the IMF head Dominique Strauss-Kahn and the rape of the hotel maid By clicking on it, Sophos claims you will be directed to a webpage which will cause MacDefender to begin downloading onto your Mac.
